WA: Drugs, cash, firearm seized
Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Division have seized a significant quantity of prohibited drugs, a firearm and a large amount of cash, following several investigations conducted in December.
Detectives from the Drug and Firearm Squad executed search warrants on december 2 on residences and commercial premises throughout the Perth metropolitan area. It will be alleged detectives located approximately 45 kilograms of Cocaine, approximately 3 kilograms of methylamphetamine and a large amount of cash.
XDetectives from the Transnational and Serious Organised Crime Squad executed search warrants on December 10 on a vehicle and residences in the metropolitan area. It will be alleged detectives located a firearm, more than $270,000 in cash, and a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine.
Four men have been charged in relation to these matters and are before the courts.
These seizures represent a major disruption to organised crime networks.
